H.O.S.T.S. is a volunteer reading tutoring program held at all three Southern Hancock elementary schools. Volunteers come in one hour per week Monday through Thursday to work with a second and third-grade student. All materials and training are provided. In past years, every third-grade student enrolled in the H.O.S.T.S. program passed the IREAD-3 reading assessment test. Your help can make a difference!
If you are interested in becoming a mentor, please contact one of our elementary schools today!
